... (chuckle)... that is a pretty wild video there FEMA... (chuckle)... you need to have Duke howling at the end to make it perfect... course the din and clatter of that scares the pants off some people who happen to be walking by when he and Katie get into full chorus.

Mom just got home... and she had pizza with her, and the news that it will take more than just 12 hours for the mortgage company to pour over the 117 pages of banking statements she sent them... so they postponed the sale one week! To 10 AM July 31, 2009... (whew)... a small reprieve. Thank God...

Here is a picture taken three days ago of Duke and his Den. He began digging this in the fall of 2008 when he was just seven months old. He spends most of his nights here along with his little Sheltie girlfriend, Katie. It is quite elaborate and like all coyote dens it has a much smaller emergency exit at the opposite corner of the porch.
